My name is Dan Ragan, and I'm the owner of Ragan Fab Works, L.L.C.  My main job description is Custom Fabricator/Race Tech at Race Car Replicas in Clinton Township, Michigan. I have been a contractor at RCR for over four years now and have had the pleasure of building some very unique cars. Even though this is my primary job, I do have clients outside of RCR that I manufacture various brackets and fixtures for.

Three years ago when I purchased my 2002 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic, I was installing new speakers in the fairing. At that time, I discovered three of the four fairing supports were broken. When I talked to the Harley dealership, they said the cost would be over $200 for supports to be replaced. The cost for the supports alone was around $150, with the warranty only being for six months. Being the bike was still under warranty, I had them replaced.  At the start of the next season, my fairing was shaking so I pulled the cover off, and the supports were broken again. I ended up welding the broken supports that go to the speakers and making a repair bracket to fix the broken area of the main supports. Upon talking with other owners of the batwing fairing and reading about this problem on the forums, I realized that this was a very common problem. I decided to develop a repair kit that would repair the broken areas of all four supports and would repair the problem  for good. I worked closely with an engineer to ensure that the repair kit would  hold up. That is why I feel comfortable offering a life-time warranty with my repair kits.

If my bike would not have been under warranty this would have cost me big time, so my goal is to help save you guys money on a fix that I can stand behind and you can put behind you.
