Our Story
Four Decades in the Business
Founded in 1978, Nationwide Machinery Sales has grown from a small one-room office into a trusted leader in the plastics and industrial machinery industry. Over the past four decades, we have expanded our facilities, capabilities, and dealer relationships to better serve manufacturers across North America and beyond. We are proudly women-owned, and our company has come a long way since the early days when there were very few women in the machinery business. Our growth reflects not only our industry expertise, but also our commitment to breaking barriers and building long-standing relationships based on trust, integrity, and results. Today, we operate two fully equipped Michigan locations:
- Troy, MI – 26,000 sq. ft. Facility. Our main facility features overhead cranes, ample electrical power for machine testing, and the infrastructure needed to inspect, demonstrate, load, and prepare equipment for shipment.
- Shelby Township, MI – 20,000 sq. ft. Heated Storage. Our secondary location provides secure, heated industrial storage for machinery, tooling, and equipment of all sizes, offering flexible short- and long-term storage options.

What We Do
We specialize in the purchasing and selling of new and used plastic machinery and metalworking equipment for companies throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Whether you’re upgrading your production line, liquidating surplus equipment, or searching for a specific machine, our team brings decades of experience to every transaction.
In addition to our in-stock inventory, we maintain a worldwide dealer network, giving our customers access to thousands of machines when we don’t have the desired equipment on our floor. This network allows us to locate hard-to-find machinery quickly and provide more options, better pricing, and faster turnaround.
Our primary goal has always been to assist our customers in finding the best machines for their requirements and to build relations with trust. We offer outright purchases of equipment, consignments, storage, liquidations, auctions and selling of new and used equipment.
